ByHymnPages works without an account. We do not ask for your name, email address, or any personal information, and we never sell data.

Everything you personalize (theme, language, favorites, text size) is stored only in your own browser. Clearing your browser storage resets the app.

Theme preference (dark/light), interface language, and text size.

Your favorites: favorite hymns, movies, and Bible books, per language.

Your selected mode and last selected hymn, so the app reopens where you left off.

All of this lives in your browser's local storage under keys beginning with "bhp_". It never leaves your device.

If analytics are enabled, anonymous usage statistics (page views, approximate region, device type) may be collected through Google Analytics to improve the app. No advertising or tracking cookies are used for profiling.

Hymn, movie, and Audio Bible content is bundled with the app and served from the same domain; requests for this content are standard web requests.

Videos (Movies and Audio Bible) are embedded from YouTube. When you play an embedded video, YouTube/Google may set its own cookies and collect data under its own policies. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.

Instrumental playback uses MIDI files and piano samples bundled with the app; no third party is involved in playback.

You can delete all app-related local data at any time by clearing site data in your browser settings.

Blocking analytics via any standard cookie blocker or Do Not Track setting will not break the app.

If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be published on this page with a revised summary.
